The ROBA Fusion by MB Maschinenbau GmbH is a state-of-the-art double-end tenoner, purpose-built to address the growing demand for flexible and efficient small-batch manufacturing—right down to batch size 1. In today’s fast-paced, custom-driven production environments, conventional double-end tenoners often fall short. This innovative machine is engineered for simultaneous milling and sanding of two sides of a workpiece in a single pass. After the initial processing, an automatic return system enables the remaining sides to be machined—eliminating the need for manual handling. The ROBA Fusion is packed with precision-enhancing technologies, such as laser-based width measurement, high-speed servo-controlled unit adjustments, and robust HSK63 spindles. It also features two 12-position tool changers, enabling rapid tool swaps for a wide range of applications. The intuitive user interface supports direct processing of ERP production lists, streamlining workflow and making the machine a powerful asset in both stand-alone and fully automated lines.

In interlinked configurations, the ROBA Fusion is capable of producing up to 1,000 workpieces per hour with consistent accuracy in both external and diagonal dimensions. A standout innovation is the new ROBA Soft-Touch module, set to debut at industry trade fairs.
